Community organizations or group charter packs, troops and crews to use Scouting for their members and the community at large. This is a unique program of character building,citizenship training and personal fitness to the youth of our nation on a cooperative basis.
The Education and Career Development program enables youth to becomes proficient in basic educational disciplines, set goals, explore careers, prepare for employment and embrace technology to achieve success in a career
The program enables the YMCA to provide financial assistance to individuals and family to afford them the opportunity to participate in Elementary Age After School Child Care.
Project Learn incorporates four curriculum designed to help students to be successful in school and life. Power Hour provides tutoring and homework assistance; Goals for Graduation introduces members to goal setting; The Torch Club develops leadership skills; and Smart Moves develops comprehensive drug and alcohol prevention skills.
This program is used to positively impact drop out and targets ages 11-17. In addition to the existing Girl Scout curriculum, we utilize an alternate Girl Scout curriculum, Studio 2B, that is designed to attract this population of girls.
